"Gremlin" ... is that because she turns into a monster when you try and wash her? :mwahaha: Yup, the calico colouring is my favourite too!

Well...I actually don't bathe my kitties. I found it far too difficult and exerting for me to fight them, so I just don't. I let them do their own cleaning, and it's just easier for me. When they were kittens I did try to though.

But Gremlin can make herself look gremlin-ly!!! :giggle: She is a very special kitty for me though! I always tell her, "Nope, sorry, can't feed the Gremlin after midnight!!!" :giggle: But I feed her anyways. Oh and she's soooo FAT!!!

No, as a general guide, it's not good to bathe kitties ... they are not like dogs; normally, they don't require baths except when they are actually soiled. If they are free-ranging kitties, they may require bathing from time to time when they get dirtied, but for indoor cats, there is no necessity. In fact, bathing washes away their natural oils and can give rise to skin problems.

Nah. My kitties don't get soiled that badly. Most of my kitties have very nice soft coats.:nod Actually, only one kitty, a calico, bites her hair and will pull it out. So, she must be sprayed with an aloe spray with hydro-cortisone in it, for hot spots, and stuff like that. Then she'll leave herself alone. :phew:
